Singapore Taxi Meter is a pure-frontend taxi fare estimator. All GPS tracking, distance, and fare calculation runs entirely on your device — nothing is uploaded to any server.

How to use

1. Choose your vehicle type (or operator / city).
2. Toggle any surcharges that apply.
3. Tap Start when boarding. Allow location permission when prompted.
4. Tap End at your destination — the fare estimate and breakdown appear immediately.

Accuracy notes

Web GPS can drift or lose signal in tunnels, underground areas, or dense urban canyons. The licensed in-vehicle meter is always authoritative.

iOS Safari pauses JavaScript when the screen locks or you switch apps. Keep this tab visible (Wake Lock is requested automatically).

Offline use

This site is a PWA. After "Add to Home Screen", it works fully offline — GPS only needs the hardware signal, not network.
